What repays the loan?
A €300k sponsorship payment

Already contracted, due in 4 months.

How does the portfolio earn?

Proposed portfolio design · not current holdings

  1. Earn from financing

Clubs pay for earlier access to contracted income. Those financing charges generate portfolio income, before fees, costs and losses.

  2. Spread the exposure

Combine selected credits across Spain, Portugal and LatAm, with a proposed 10% limit per club.

  3. Leave loan selection to us

Mass Rising sources and assesses each credit, then manages it through collection. You participate through one vehicle.

Different clubs. Different repayment dates.

The aim: spread exposure across clubs, payers and payment dates, rather than rely on a single repayment.

04 /A recurring opportunity

The income is contracted. The bills cannot wait.

TV and sponsorship pay in instalments. Wages, tax and operating costs arrive every month.

One club. One season.

4 payments of €240k. Monthly bills of €70k.

Red marks cash needed to pay the bills, before financing.

Cash flows and illustration assumptions

Illustration, not a live club or loan offer. Zero opening cash; all receipts and costs occur on schedule. Financing flows show principal only: financing charges reduce cash retained and must be included in a real funding plan. No interest savings or grant eligibility are assumed.

07 /Selection & risk

What makes a loan financeable.

Five questions guide the proposed selection process.

  1. The payer

Who owes the money, and can they pay?

  2. The entitlement

Is the payment earned, documented and legally payable?

  3. The claim

What is collectible after other claims and deductions?

  4. The collection

How does the payment reach the portfolio?

  5. The club

Can the club fulfil its obligations until payment?

When repayment falls short

Payer delays, disputes and collection failures can delay distributions or cause losses. Each loan needs a defined monitoring and recovery process.

No live repayment history yet. Capital is at risk.

08 /Practical questions

Before you decide.

A few details about participating in V1.

How do returns and access to capital work?

Returns come from financing income after fees, costs and credit losses. Review net-return assumptions, fees, minimum allocation, distributions and redemption provisions during diligence; final terms belong in the investment documents. A 3–9 month loan is not a promise of investor liquidity on that schedule.

Who is eligible?

V1 is intended for eligible professional or accredited investors. Eligibility depends on the final vehicle and your jurisdiction, and is confirmed during diligence. An application is not an investment commitment.

Can I choose individual credits?

The proposed V1 model is a pooled portfolio selected by Mass Rising. You can discuss individual-credit interests with the team, but a separate deal-by-deal option is not being offered here.

What reporting will I receive?

Reporting frequency and contents will be set out in the investment documents. The diligence conversation covers loan exposure, repayment progress, payment delays and portfolio costs.

What happens after I apply?

The team reviews fit and eligibility, usually within a working day. Qualified applicants receive the V1 brief and a founder conversation, followed by diligence before any allocation or commitment.
